The freefall

If I am retrospective - Is my present a sore ?
Reminiscing of the 'lime light' days - am I an attention seeking whore ?


Is it just too shallow, just wanting to be rich ?
If I crib and if I pine - Am I a whining bitch ?


Does pleading forgiveness extenuate a wrong ?
Am I sick for not being proud to be all that is ' Bong' ?


If I am self analytical - Do I have a lack ?
If I keep making excuses- Does the world cut me a slack ??


Does the universe bother if my poem doesn't rhyme ?
But I care, this poem that is, for it is mine.
